Open Banking Specifics in Lithuania
# Authentication flows and SCA
Lithuanian banks rely primarily on redirect flows for Open Banking authentication. Common authentication mechanisms used by banks in Lithuania are Smart-ID and Mobile-ID. Automatic app switching is generally not supported by Lithuanian banks and input of credentials such as personal code and/or phone number is required on the banks' open banking login pages prior to SCA.

# Payment Specifics
All Lithuanian banks support SEPA Credit Transfers (SCT) in EUR (Euro) via their open banking APIs. Also support for Instant SEPA Credit Transfers (SCT Inst) is widespread, as most Lithuanian banks have adopted SCT Inst and typically process eligible payments instantly.

# Artea
Artea, formertly knows as Šiaulių Bankas, provides a fully functional PSD2 API supporting the redirect authentication flow. Both Smart-ID and Mobile-ID can be used for SCA. Automatic app switching is not supported.
# Sandbox Availability
Artea provides a sandbox environment suitable for end-to-end testing including authorisation flows, account information retrieval, and initiation of payments.
It is available through the Enable Banking API's sandbox environment. Please refer to the Sandbox Credentials section for the credentials to be used for authentication in the Artea sandbox.
# Citadele
Citadele operates in Lithuania, providing unified Open Banking services across the Baltic states.
# Sandbox Availability
Citadele provides a sandbox environment suitable for end-to-end testing including authorisation flows, account information retrieval, and initiation of payments.
It is available through the Enable Banking API's sandbox environment. Please refer to the Sandbox Credentials section for the credentials to be used for authentication in the Citadele sandbox.
# Luminor
Luminor provides an open banking interface that supports redirect authentication flow with Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) handled using Smart-ID or Mobile-ID. Automatic app switching is not supported.
# Paysera
Paysera is a licensed electronic money institution (EMI) and provides payment accounts for both businesses and private individuals. In its open banking interface Paysera supports redirect authentication flow with Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) performed using the Paysera mobile app.
# Revolut
Revolut uses the redirect authentication flow with SCA performed either through the Revolut mobile app (when authentication is initiated from on the device where the mobile app is installed) or through the combination of the PIN, approval via the Revolut mobile app and the code sent via SMS. On the devices where the mobile app is installed, the automatic app switch is supported.
# SEB
SEB provides an open banking interface that supports redirect authentication flow with Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) handled using Smart-ID, Mobile-ID, SEB Mobile App or Digipass. Automatic app switching is not supported.
# Swedbank
In Lithuania Swedbank supports both redirect and decoupled authentication flows. Strong customer authentication is normally performed using Smart-ID or Mobile-ID. Desktop users are redirected to the bank's login page. Automatic app switching is not supported.
# Sandbox Availability
Swedbank provides a sandbox environment suitable for end-to-end testing including authorisation flows, account information retrieval, and initiation of payments.
It is available through the Enable Banking API's sandbox environment. Please refer to the Sandbox Credentials section for the credentials to be used for authentication in the Swedbank sandbox.

Prior to redirecting to the URBO's open banking authentication web page, users are required to provide their ID used for authentication to URBO's online banking.
