Based in Vilnius, Lithuania, Ugne has been part of the Enable Banking story since 2020. What started as an entry-level role quickly evolved into a position where she helps fintechs unlock the full potential of open banking APIs, enabling more connected, secure, and data-driven financial solutions across Europe.

From SDR to Account Executive: Growing with Trust
When Ugne first joined Enable Banking, she wasn’t just looking for a job — she was looking for the right environment.
“I just liked the vibe during the interview,” she recalls. “Everyone was down to earth, honest, and trusting in each other. Those are the values I was looking for in a workplace.”
That atmosphere of authenticity and openness made it easy for her to grow. Over the past few years, she’s moved from supporting outreach efforts to leading discussions and building long-term partnerships with fellow fintechs.
“Even if you’re not believing that much in yourself at some point,” Ugne adds, “others believe that you are able to achieve more and grow — both as a professional and as a person.”
For her, trust isn’t just something you talk about; it’s something you feel every day — in how colleagues collaborate, share knowledge, and give each other the freedom to make decisions.
Life at Enable Banking: Collaboration and Connection
Working in fintech means every day is different — and often fast-paced. But even in a remote setup, connection remains a priority.
“Since we work in remote teams, we have daily get-togethers where we share what’s happening, exchange ideas, and support one another,” Ugne explains. “For me, the day usually includes discovery calls with potential partners and lots of virtual collaboration with team members.”
That balance of independence and teamwork is what makes her role exciting. It’s not just about building client relationships — it’s about being part of a global ecosystem of fintech innovators who are redefining how data moves in finance.
Why Open Banking Excites Us
When talking about open banking, Ugne’s enthusiasm shines through.
“It’s a very exciting area,” she says. “At first, it seemed to be developing slowly, but now it’s used in so many ways — from credit scoring to personal finance management. And there’s still so much room for innovation.”
As open banking adoption continues to grow, new opportunities are emerging for financial inclusion, smarter data usage, and seamless customer experiences. Ugne loves being part of that transformation — helping partners use Enable Banking’s API solutions to build services that truly add value.
“I’m really looking forward to seeing open banking accelerate even more — bringing value to businesses and customers alike.”
Balancing Work, Growth, and Life
Outside of work, Ugne enjoys reading (though Netflix often competes for her attention), practising yoga, and hitting the gym. Her Monday ritual sets the tone for the week:
“I listen to focus music on YouTube, have a nice cup of coffee, and get into work mode,” she laughs.
It’s that blend of focus, energy, and curiosity that defines both Ugne’s personality and Enable Banking’s culture.
