Significant Changes and Updates
Improved Onboarding Task Manager
We’ve refined both the processes and tools for the TPP onboarding procedure. These updates are designed to improve transparency, communication, and overall experience for all customers.
You now have much greater visibility into the progress of your integrations:
Onboarded Integrations Page: View all your live integrations in a single, comprehensive display, which is ideal for managing production environments at scale.
Onboarding Plans Page: Track the status of each bank endpoint’s onboarding process in real time. The information for the page comes directly from our production environment, meaning that when you see a "ready" status, the integration is live and you can immediately start serving customers.
These enhancements are designed to remove guesswork from the onboarding process and give you confidence that integrations are moving forward with full transparency.
Enhanced Authorisation Flow Logs
We’ve improved the authorisation flow logs to now include an indication of redirects from the ASPSP, information that was previously unavailable.
This update offers several practical benefits:
Improved error visibility: Redirects are a critical part of the authorisation journey, and logging them helps you identify where the flow may have been disrupted.
Faster troubleshooting: By providing more context within the logs, it becomes easier to trace and correct integration issues.
More effective support interaction: With clearer log data, you can give our support team precise information, streamlining the investigation and resolution process.
This enhancement is designed to reduce guesswork and enable more efficient debugging and support communication.
New Error Categorisation
We’ve introduced a new error code: ASPSP_PSU_ACTION_REQUIRED. This categorisation is specifically designed to flag cases where an issue requires action from the Payment Service User (PSU).
Key improvements:
Faster issue identification: Clearer descriptions help quickly diagnose when user intervention is needed.
More efficient troubleshooting: Reduces ambiguity and supports quicker resolution.
Impact on the end-user experience:
Actionable feedback: End-users receive immediate notification that their input is required, with guidance on what to do.
Empowered Self-Resolution: Service providers can support the end user to resolve the issue with the bank.
Fewer delays: Clear error messaging accelerates issue resolution, contributing to a smoother experience.
Better UX: Transparent, prompt and actionable communication improves the overall account access journey or payment flow.
This update supports both technical teams and end-users by making error handling more precise and actionable.
Control Panel Documentation
The Enable Banking documentation now includes a comprehensive guide to the API Control Panel.
This resource covers all core functionalities, including:
Application management
API status monitoring
Reviewing live data from production open banking APIs
First-time sign-in and environment setup
The guide is designed to help you make full use of the Control Panel’s capabilities.
As we continue to add new features, the documentation will be updated to reflect the latest changes—ensuring you always have access to accurate and actionable information.
New Copy Request Log to Clipboard
The ‘Applications’ detail view in the Control Panel now includes a button to copy the full request log directly to your clipboard.
This feature makes it easier to:
Capture key identifiers such as Request ID and Session ID
Share relevant details with Enable Banking support without manual extraction
Streamline communication and accelerate issue resolution
By simplifying how logs are shared, we reduce friction in the support process and enable faster investigation of end-user issues.
